When you log in to the website

Discord shows you these accesses on the login screen. They are the only ones the website asks for.

When you add the bot to a server

You can untick a permission on the add screen: only the module that needs it stops. Some permissions only exist to take that right away from others: Discord only lets a bot block a right if it has it itself.
